Review: Works as described...split signal from satellite HD receiver to hdtv and Onkyo amplifier, loss of signal not detected/noticeable. Very satisfied with it.

Review: This is an excellent product to split Dish VIP 722 signal to a second HD Tv. Set Dish in single mode and set second remote same as 1st. Walla HD TV on both sets.

Review: This HDMI active splitter worked for one week. After a few days, I lost picture on both TV's. Unplugged the power to reset, didn't help. Pulled one TV off the splitter, reset power, still didn't work. Reversed TV's, reset power, still didn't work. I don't think the problem is the power supply since all the lights on the splitter still come on.
I bypassed splitter and sent signal directly to each TV and both TV's worked (independently).
It's hard finding circuity that isn't cheaply made!
Keep looking...

Review: I bought this item after doing hours of research only to stumble upon this when I was getting ready to make my purchase. I use it to split my PS3 between my living room TV (connected with a 6ft HDMI) and master bedromm TV (connected with a 50ft GE brand HDMI) and it works flawlessly. Still getting 1080P over the 50ft cable with no delays, would buy this porduct again in a heartbeat.

Review: The device seems to work with the normal Sat reciever or DVD player, but I could NOT get it to work with my computer running Windows 7 / 64-bit.
I tried a different video card with HDMI onboard but it still wouldn't allow me to switch from the computer to another device and then back to the computer. If I tried to switch back to the computer, the signal won't come back. I did find a "sort-of" solution that usually works by tricking the switch. When changing to computer, first switch to another output for 2-3 seconds,, then switching to the computer output. Sounds strange, but it's working "ok" for me now.
